LBJ names Melissa Espino as a new head girls soccer coach

Melissa Espino has been named the brand-new head ladies football train at Lyndon B. Johnson Senior High School, United ISD revealed in a news release Thursday early morning.

” Mr. Armando Salazar, principal at LBJ, made the recommendation on Tuesday,” the release reads. “We were really pleased with Coach Espino’s expertise and interest for her sporting activity and her vision for the girls soccer program at LBJ. We are excited for her to find on board asap to fulfill her brand-new group and begin workouts with the ladies.”

Espino graduated from Cigarroa Senior high school in 2005 where she competed in soccer and also track in addition to participating in band.

She took place to proceed her soccer occupation at Texas A&M International College before proceeding right into the education globe after university.

She has been an assistant at United Senior high school with Jerry Vera for the past 9 years.
