Eastside wins the Class 2A State Softball Title

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – For the second time in the background of the Blazers softball program, Eastside is bringing a softball state champion residence to Butler. The Blazers beat North Posey, 2-1, in the 2A state title video game.

Little round obtained the task done offensively for the Blazers, as both runs that were racked up came off of press bunts with runners on third. In the top of the 4th, Mataya Bireley made her means to 3rd base after being struck by a pitch, and also Poise Kreischer performed the capture play to excellence, bringing Bireley house.

Junior starting bottle Natalie Lower was as soon as again dominant on the pile for Eastside. The defense behind Lower was incredible as well, as the Blazers made excellent play after fantastic play to maintain North Posey off of the scoreboard up until the 7th inning.

Eastside surfaces their historical season with a 29-1 document as well as a 2A state championship trophy. Brennen Kitchen wins a state title in his very first year as head train of the Eastside softball group.
