ORLANDO, Fla. – The Female’s Tackle Football League is topping its period with a championship game at Dr. Phillip’s Senior high school on July 30.
Two groups are vying for the supreme prize.
“They will be having a battle to see who is going to be the organization’s champion,” Women’s Tackle Football Organization vice president Rhonda Alford told FOX 35.
The title game includes the River City Sting from Virginia and also the West Palm Coastline Coyotes.
Do not assume even if they’re ladies it’s going to be a diminished football game.
“These are adult women, fully cushioned, full get in touch with football,” Alford.” Usually, it’s your same full get in touch with, full speed, hard-hitting, deep spheres to the end area plays.
So, that suggests 11-on-11 full-contact football, and also this league mainly follows NCAA policies.
The weekend break includes a full slate of tasks and also events.
In addition to Saturday’s national championship, there’s a skills competition and an all-star video game on Sunday.
“I intend to see this grow. A lot of ladies, a great deal of individuals as a whole do not understand that there are women professional athletes out here playing full contact football,” Alford said.
The Dr. Phillips flag football team will hit the area for competitors before the national championship on Saturday.
