Bailey Vrazel of Danbury (Texas) finished her high school occupation with the nationwide swiped base record. Yet it ends up, it was simply the starting for Vrazel.

A three-time all-district gamer, Vrazel had 72 base hits as a senior while batting.692 with a. 742 on-base percent. She additionally blazed on the base paths with 129 swipes, breaking the previous document of 117 by Lacey Clabaugh of Tonkawa (Okla.) in 2001.

Vrazel’s swiped base career was simply beginning. She transformed the technique once again in 2012 with 75 steals. Her 247 job swipes rank No. 2 in Department II history.

Vrazel leads a team of 70 high school softball gamers with 75 or more swiped bases in a single period. Six of them have more than 100 steals.

The most prolific base thief in nationwide senior high school softball history is Kendall Beth Sides of Sumiton Christian (Ala.). Over 5 seasons (2013-17), Sides stole 401 bases (nearly 70 more than the No. 2 player on the checklist) and reviewed 75 taken bases in a period 4 times. She had 107 in 2015, 99 in 2017, 82 in 2016 and also 76 in 2014.
