The Slidell area is mourning after a longtime educator as well as football trainer died at his residence recently.
Patrick Armand Jr. died in harmony at his home on Wednesday, Feb. 15. Armand was a long time 7th-grade social studies teacher and football trainer at Clearwood Jr. High School in Slidell for two decades.
“He was a loving other half, daddy and also grandpa,” an obituary for Armand reads. “He was loved as well as will certainly be missed by his students, gamers as well as co-workers.”
The St. Tammany Church School System shared photos of Facebook of notes left on lockers and his classroom door.
“What an amazing tribute to a male who impacted numerous lives,” the institution area stated.
Armand is endured by his mom, brother and also siblings, his children, grandchildren as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service to celebrate his life has been arranged for Saturday, March 4 at Grace Memorial Baptist Church in Slidell. Visitation will be from 10- 11 a.m. with a solution starting at 11 a.m.
The family is requesting for donations in his name to Athletes for Hope instead of blossoms.
